This is one of my favorite photos of my garden. Deep soil, straw mulch, indeterminate tomatoes on a tower, bananas in the background and fluffy clouds floating across a sunset. I absolutely adore my garden. There’s nothing negative out here. It’s all healthy and beautiful. I work hard on my garden, but I could more accurately describe it as: I play hard in my garden. I don’t have to grow up and do dull things out here. My stress unravels. And every plant I care for looks up at me lovingly. It’s a love affair with nature. I couldn’t think of a place I’d rather be!

Thank you! I am very blessed to have my garden. If I wasn’t adding a ton of water, this wouldn’t be possible. Our water is pumped in from a different area. Sometimes, I think about what would happen if we lost power for a long period of time. No electricity and no water. I also would not be able to afford the water if it cost significantly more. It’s taken me over a decade to put this garden in. It could be completely gone in a few of our summer months. Right now, though, I’m going to close my eyes and block that thought out. I will play outside in my garden as long as my water supply allows!
That was June 2022. We’re coming up on when I put my corn out in mid February. Very short downtime here. BTW my whole family is still sick. It’s becoming a neverending sickness. I still think it’s mainly cedar fever. I’ll get those seeds out this week.
How blessed are you to have such a wonderful garden and how blessed is the garden to have YOU!

Oh, thank you, but there is certainly no rush.
Very nice garden! I’m into gardening myself and started planting seeds lately. But of course it will take a while for everything to grow.
Yes. There’s never anything “fast” about gardening! Thanks for coming by and commenting. I appreciate the visit.
