This is awful for trying to juice pomegranates. In fact I think it would be awful for citrus, which is what it is made for. This does not compress enough to be worthwhile. I used my fingers to juice what was left and it shot out from under my grip and spilled what little the cup underneath had. If you want pomegranate juice buy pom from the grocery store. This fruit is almost impossible to juice and when you’ve done it it is too strong to drink. My judgement on pomegranates is it is not worth the space or the time. Even with pom being crazy expensive at the store, growing your own is not worth it. After ten years and having the bush start alternative bearing years, it just isn’t worth it to grow this fruit. It’s hard to juice, it’s hard to harvest without spoilage. The plant will grow like gang busters, but I really don’t approve of bothering with this fruit.
Meet you out in the garden to find something other than pomegranates to grow.

I grow them anyway, and keep the tree small, and most importantly, I give the fruit to neighbors.
