I have never been able to eat mushrooms… that being said, can you eat these?
I took a botany course in college my first year. The guy who was teaching the class was an assistant professor. He told me, that even he did not go mushroom hunting because they are so hard to identify and some can kill you. So, my basic answer to any mushroom question is no. Don’t bother unless you are looking for something very unique like a morel or chicken of the woods, or that you put the spawn down yourself and you know what the resulting mushrooms will look like. I’m sure there’s people who would argue that position, but it was a warning I haven’t forgotten.
