Divisions for different types of fruits. I only have five types of plants, that I have more than one of. I have more than one of these because it was necessary for pollination. I’m growing on a quarter acre of land, which means there’s a lot of different single varieties out there. I frequently have to check growing or harvesting information because I just forget or I need to change something I’m doing.

I also keep my seed packets in binders. I have tons of seed. Some years I focus on some seed, the next year I grow something different. This is usually because my freezer is full of the previous year’s vegetables or I have canned a bunch of stuff the prior season. Of all of the ways I’ve tried to organize and stay on top of seed packets, using heavy duty photo pages is my favorite. I flip through what I have. Pull out what I need, use the packets and put them back. That way I am not looking through tons of gallon zip lock bags, trying to find something in particular. I love this method of organization. I also use cellophane tape and write on that rather than the photo page. This makes it easy to move something further into the pages or remove it because I didn’t like it. If you would like to see how I make seed binders you can see that here
Heavy documentation is never a bad thing!

It is terrific to know I am not the only ORGANIZED person on the planet!
It took me a long time to conquer the clutter. Now I have teenage boys and a husband who don’t clean up after themselves and I get derailed. As the kids graduate I will have better control I think. I am a super organized person and my family is driving me crazy with their messes! Good to see you today!
