There are still wonderful people out there! This is a YouTube channel I follow. The guy drives around his city and finds areas that need attention. He’s cleaned up sidewalks for kids, to be able to walk home from the bus safely. He cleans up abandoned properties to bless the community and make it safer. He finds people, (like this young brother and sister) cleans up their yard and then raised the money from the channel to replace an aging roof.
The roofing company showed up and proceeded to donate the entire roof. From what I understand, the money then went for the young girl, to finally purchase this home and make repairs. He doesn’t usually have a huge crew like this, but his friends, family and study group showed up, along with the owner of the roofing company.
They cleared away decades of debris and just blessed the heck out of these siblings. I tell you what, if you want to have beautiful kind things in your life on a regular basis, watching this guy and seeing the difference he makes for people and places, is well worth the time.
Anyway, my focus this month on this blog, is on gratitude. I am so filled with joy after watching this, that I thought I’d share. (The original cleanup of this property is also on his channel.)
