Soil has been added to my vegetable beds.

The bananas have been fertilized.

Bird baths have been scrubbed.

I added water crystals to the beds this year because the bags of composted manure have a ton of sand in them and water runs right out of the beds, without something to absorb it.

The seed potatoes and corn are planted.
All of the plants I wanted to move have been moved.

I set up remesh support, (attached to an old swingset) for cucumbers and beans, which I also finished planting today. I put some chard in on the corners of two beds. Now I need to soak the straw bales I have for three days to sterilize them, add it as mulch and crumble some mushroom spawn into the straw.
I have a flat of tomatoes that are going into their own bed and I saved space for a couple of giant sunflowers in the potato bed (I have the area for them temporarily marked with pvc pipe.) I am almost done with the raised beds and will start work on the wicking beds on the other side of the yard.

I need to rerun the soaker hoses and attach the garden hoses to them. I also have weed barrier that I’m going to run around the garden and play yard to get control of the grass that got into everything last year.
Spring is so joyous and productive. It’s my favorite time of year!
Meet you out in the garden to watch our dreams grow into reality!

Lot’s of work. I can’t wait to see the end result.
I’m excited to see them sprout and grow too! Thanks for coming by! I always enjoy seeing you.
Your banana trees are more developed than mine are. I will be very embarrassed if some of mine succumbed to frost to much to recover now.
They are my most finicky crop. Well. Maybe dragon fruit are more needy. But, yeah. Growing bananas is a full time insanity!
